Your information
Privacy policy
Effective and last updated: November 2, 2026
This policy explains how the Siege of Crownfall team handles information through crownfallwar.com and our game testing services. It applies to the current development and testing stage; we will update it before introducing material new data practices.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy covers visits to our public website, communication with us, and accounts or gameplay that connect to our official testing services. Offline training stored only on your device is not transmitted to us merely because it exists on that device. A third-party app store, device platform, or email provider has its own privacy policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you choose to provide
- Account information, such as a username and password when account registration is available.
- Your messages, including feedback, support requests, and the email address and other information you include when contacting us.
Game and testing information
- Account identifiers, game progress, selected squads, match commands, match results, and test-environment rewards or balances.
- Connection, reconnect, and session information needed to operate a match and restore your place in it.
Technical information
- IP address, requested pages or endpoints, timestamps, device or browser information, and diagnostic or security logs.
- Information about errors, latency, and service reliability. We do not need your precise location to provide the website.
Passwords must be processed using password-hashing protections on the account service. Never send your password by email.
3. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and secure the website, accounts, matches, and testing services.
- Authenticate players, restore sessions, process match commands, and determine and record game results.
- Respond to questions, investigate bugs, prevent abuse, and improve gameplay and reliability.
- Meet legal obligations and protect our rights, players, and services.
Where required, our legal bases include performing our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the game, complying with law, and consent for optional processing.
6. Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including testing, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Test accounts and match records may be retained while the relevant test remains active. Backup copies may take additional time to expire.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your password and device.
7. International processing
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where our infrastructure or service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws from your home country. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact us using the address below. We may need to verify that a request concerns your own account before acting on it.
You can stop using the testing service or request deletion of a test account. Deleting locally stored game data may not delete server records; likewise, deleting an account may not immediately remove every backup or legally required record.
9. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Where local law sets a higher minimum age, that age applies. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of this policy, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
10. Payments
Our current testing services do not accept real-money payments. We do not ask for payment-card details through this website. If payments are introduced later, the relevant payment provider’s terms and privacy policy will also apply, and this policy will be updated as needed.
11. Mobile app stores
Siege of Crownfall is planned for distribution through Google Play and the App Store. When a store listing becomes available, the store handles account identification, device identifiers, purchase records, refunds, and payment processing under its own privacy policy and terms. We receive only the information the store makes available to developers, such as a store account identifier, purchase status, and crash reports.
We never receive or store your full payment-card details. Purchases are billed and refunded through the store, and store refund rules apply. Pre-registration messages are sent by email and you can stop them at any time using the unsubscribe option in the message or by contacting us.
12. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy as the game and its services develop. The effective date at the top shows the current version. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
